Calls can be made from softphone to the PSTN gateway and calls can be received on the softphone from the PSTN gateway. Chembarathi provides an inexpensive way to communicate with absolutely no call charges. Install and run the exchange on a computer and provide the hostname to any user who has a SIP enabled phone and then communicate with each other totally free of call charges.
